Why is it all chics on Tumblr think they're gods gift to man??
Me:

raisa-allin:

literally like most of the girls on tumblr and in life are taught to hate themselves and youre just angry that some of us were able to unlearn that or even jst project some confidence that you think is just ‘too much!’ so tbh…… go take a nap in a landfill

Even
After
All this time
The Sun never says to the Earth,

"You owe me."

Look
What happens
With a love like that,
It lights the whole sky.

"When people with privilege hear that they have privilege, what they hear is not, “Our society is structured so that your life is more valued than others.” They hear, “Everything, no matter what, will be handed to you. You have done nothing to achieve what you have.” That’s not strictly true, and hardly anyone who points out another’s privilege is making that accusation. There are privileged people who work very hard. The privilege they experience is the absence of barriers that exist for other people."

"If I told you that a flower bloomed in a dark room, would you trust it?"

-

Kendrick Lamar

This line encapsulates othe concept of a good kid in a bad city, and it cuts into one of the most moral questions in human existence: Can good come from evil? The best part about the line, as is true of the best poetry, is that it doesn’t answer the question it asks. For Kendrick’s immediate purposes, he’s the flower and the city is the dark room. The question is: Can you trust him?
